Jeff Hardy

As noted on Sunday night, WWE star Jeff Hardy was arrested on Saturday for “driving while impaired” in Cameron County of North Carolina and is scheduled to be in Cabbarus County Court on April 16. Hardy’s license has been revoked for 30 days as a pre-trial measure.

In a new report by of the accident report, it notes that Hardy ran himself off the roadway of Concord Parkway and struck about 105 feet of the guardrail before his car spun out and stopped in the middle lane of the parkway.

The accident report estimates that $8,000 worth of damage was done to Hardy’s 2016 Cadillac and $5,000 worth of damage done to the guardrail on Concord Parkway.

WWE issued a statement on Hardy’s arrest on Monday morning.

“Jeff Hardy is responsible for his own personal actions. We are investigating the matter and awaiting information from local law enforcement officials.”

  1. Thanks for stating the obvious, WWE. Except Brock isn’t responsible for his own actions because we don’t test main eventers.

  2. Jeff keeps saying he doesn’t have a problem, keeps saying “Oh I’ve learned my lesson, but keeps falling… When are people gonna help this guy?

  3. Addiction is a daily fight you aim to have more good than bad and keep it going for as long as possible. if its 100 days then 2 bad so be it! Hopefully next time its 110 days and you build on it. You can’t excuse the danger and consequences must be paid for but then pick him up and take the next step.

  4. You say he keeps saying, do you recall how long its been since the last time he has been in any trouble and where are you seeing him say this as I am up with the IWC and the last time I heard him comment was when he admitted he had a problem, said he asked for help, and that his child also was helping him see the importance of staying clean? It’s not like this is a monthly occurrence with him – seeing as to how deep his demons seemed to be and how often we were hearing about him, I’d say he has kept himself out of trouble (and hopefully that meant clean) for a long time – that said, this is a big step back BUT it’s possible he’ll seek help right away or there is more to the story but I don’t think it’s fair to act like this has been a regular occurrence recently with him. Given the daily battle that is addiction, I’d say he has been going pretty good until now. I still think / agree he needs some help but I’m also proud of him that he had seemed to get back on track. Oh, and as a side-note, one of the USO’s recently got an impaired and is still holding the tag team belt. Wonder if they’ll hold Jeff to a different standard?
