WWE Superstar Mickie James underwent surgery today for a torn ACL ligament in her knee.
Nick Aldis, James’ husband, took to Twitter to give an update. Aldis mentioned that the surgery was a complete success. F4WOnline is reporting she is expected to be out for seven to nine months.
James tore her ACL last month during a match against Carmella in Waco, Texas.
James is a 5-time Women’s Champion and a 1-time Divas Champion. She last appeared on television during the Women’s Battle Royal at WrestleMania 35. James was moved to the Smackdown Live roster, but was not used on television.
UPDATE: Surgery was a complete success. I'm sure when she's feeling up to it she'll share more. Thank you all! 🙌 https://t.co/RxCHyko2UQ
