Roode says that there is no shame in losing to the greatest wrestler of all time and on behalf of himself and all the boys in the back and every fan In the world he wants to thank Kurt for everything he has done for the fans, the company, and for Roode himself. Angle starts to tear up and they hug it out as the fans chant “Thank You Angle” at him. Kurt looks legitimately choked up at this and James Storm walks out to join in the celebration. Storm says that he wants to say on behalf of two TNA originals, he and Roode, thank you to a true TNA legend. Storm and Kurt hug and Storm says that they have spent a lot of time on the road together and the knowledge that Angle has is worth millions of dollars, but to him the friendship he has received from Kurt is priceless. Storm pulls out some beers and says he isn’t about to let Kurt leave without a true celebration. Storm then pops everyone by pulling out a carton of milk for Kurt with the fans chanting “chug” to Kurt. Kurt does his old milk chug from back in the day while Beer Money toast to him with some beers.
Kurt says that he one more match left on this tour against Lashley and it will be a classic, but one match he wants to see even more than that is Beer Money vs. The Wolves because it would be truly a great match.
The Wolves walk out and Davey thanks Kurt for everything he has done and says that Kurt has consistently motivated and inspired him in wrestling, and if Beer Money, the fans, and Kurt want to see Beer Money vs. The Wolves then “lets do it!” Eddie says that Beer Money doesn’t even need to cash in their title shot for the match and they might want to hold on to it because they will need it again as The Wolves will defeat them and prove that they are the greatest tag team in TNA. Storm says that they aren’t there to prove they are the best tag team in wrestling going but just to reinforce that fact.
Matt Hardy comes out and says that he has beaten EC3 so many times that it has gotten boring. He says that EC3 will never receive a World Title shot again and that he is done with him. He thanks Rockstar Spud and calls him out to the ring.

He says this time last year he was left bloodied and with a shaven head by EC3 and now the fans have just jumped on the latest flavor of the month after what EC3 did. He says now the fans in Britain chant EC3’s name and disrespect one of their own in Spud. Spud asks which of the fans were there for him when he needed them and he says they are all jealous of him and he is a national treasure. He says everyone at home wishes they could be a star like Spud and he says what he did to EC3 last week was just good old fashioned revenge. He said that he did the right thing last week and the right thing was to take away the thing that EC3 cares about most: the TNA World Title. He says that it eats EC3 alive knowing that Matt Hardy is still the TNA World Champion. He says that he dedicates his life to the family and #MattHardyBrand. Spud says that Hardy is the greatest TNA World Champion of all time and he is the champion TNA needs and deserves. Spud says that they have gotten rid of the cancer that is EC3 but then the lights go out and EC3’s music hits!
EC3 runs out with a chair and levels Tyrus with it as Spud, Reby, and Matt bail out of the ring. Matt attacks EC3 from behind and then goes for the Twist of Fate but EC3 blocks it and clotheslines Matt! Spud attacks EC3 from behind now too but then bails out of the ring and runs away as EC3 turned around and went after him. Matt, Tyurs, and Spud start to retreat up the ramp as EC3 grabs a microphone.
EC3 challenges Spud to a fight tonight, not a wrestling match, and he says that he is glad that they are in Birmingham, Eland because there are plenty of people here that have seen Spud’s face enough times that there will be no problem helping the coroner identity the body!
Backstage Gail Kim says that she is going to confront Maria tonight. She says that Maria showed how selfish and conceited she is last week after Gail gave her the chance to show that she is really the Miracle of the Knockouts that she claimed.
Another Decay vignette airs.
Backstage Matt Hardy screams at Dixie Carter about being the World Champion and he says that if EC3 had fired EC3’s ass that would have cured everything. Dixie says that they have brought this on themselves after everything they have done to EC3. Dixie says that she can’t sanction the fight tonight so it will be an Unsanctioned Street Fight.
