AXS TV, a television network owned by HDNet, recently revealed their 2015 programming line-up and included in that is the addition of 13 episodes of New Japan Pro Wrestling according to a report by John Pollock. The 13 episodes will consist of New Japan matches from 2013, including matches from the 2013 G1 Climax tournament. The first episode will be the Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Kazuchika Okada IWGP Title match from Wrestlekingdom VII in January 2013 at the Tokyo Dome.
Commentators for the 13 episodes will consist of Mauro Ranallo and former MMA fighter & New Japan wrestler Josh Barnett and they will begin recording commentary for the 13-episode run in December. There is no word on when in 2015 will the series will debut on AXS TV as of this writing. This will be the first time that New Japan programming will be a part of a television network in North America.
