While nothing has been confirmed and though talks between both parties took place as recent as a few months ago, former WCW and WWE star Bill Goldberg has been vocal about being open to having one last retirement match. Given the location of Wrestlemania next year in Atlanta and all the former WCW names they want to use at the Hall of Fame, it would seem the time would be right to do it. Goldberg noted in a recent interview with the San Diego-Union Tribune, “If the money was right, I’d go out there and do it in two seconds. I’d have to be totally prepared for it, because I wouldn’t want to tarnish my image, but I’d like to be in the ring one more time so that my wife and my son can see me wrestle.”
