Jim Ross confirmed during his appearance on ESPN’s Outside The Lines Thursday that he is currently in talks with All Elite Wrestling.
We had reported earlier this month that Ross himself had stated during an edition of “The Jim Ross Report” podcast that he would would be parting ways with WWE at end of this month after his current contract expired. He also did note in the podcast that he wants to “stay busy” and on the road, adding he doesn’t think he will be out of work long.
When asked during Thursday’s interview on Outside The Lines if he is headed to All Elite Wrestling, Ross stated that he hasn’t signed anything yet, and that “his people and their people are doing their thing.”
Also during the interview Ross said the main reason he is leaving WWE is because he wasn’t being used and it was time to move on.
