The Ring of Honor Newswire for August 25th

– As fans saw during last night’s episode of “ROH on HDNet”, a stipulation has been set for the ROH World Title match taking place between ROH World Champion Tyler Black and #1 Contender Roderick Strong at “Glory by Honor IX”. At the request of the champion, and in response Roderick’s “whining”, this World Title bout will now be fought under No Disqualification rules! Tyler felt so strongly about this, he even threatened to back out of the match if Executive Producer Jim Cornette refused to make it happen! A limited number of General Admission tickets are still available for this huge live event on September 11th so get yours here (http://www.rohwrestling.com/store.php?sec=prod&prod=387) while they last. And if you can’t be there live, then order it on iPPV at www.gofightlive.tv and experience the best pound-for-pound pro wrestling in the world.

– Also taking place at “Glory by Honor IX” will be the highly anticipated Dream Tag Team Match pitting The Kings of Wrestling vs. Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin. And now, as a special bonus for those fans in attendance, Hass & Benjamin will be available prior to the show for a special autograph signing! We will have photographs available for purchase that night so make sure you arrive early to take part in this special meet & greet!

– Just announced earlier today (http://www.rohwrestling.com/news/ultimate-endurance-stipulations-set/), the stipulations have been set for the Ultimate Endurance ROH World Tag Title match taking place in Charlotte, NC this Saturday night August 28th. The first fall will be fought as a Four Corner Survival, the 2nd fall will take place under Texas Tornado stipulations, and the final fall for the belts will be a Tag Team Scramble. Shane Hagadorn sent word to ROH officials simply stating that “It does not matter the stipulations you force upon the Kings of Wrestling. They shall overcome all odds and forever remain ROH World Champions.”

– Speaking of Shane Hagadorn, as seen Monday night during “ROH on HDNet”, the relationship between Davey Richards and Hagadorn came to a violent end with a left hand to the jaw of Richard’s former manager. Take a look at the video below and see what provoked Davey to finally shut Shane’s mouth. Word has it that seeing this footage again has only further incensed Hagadorn, but he refused any additional comment about Davey at this time.

– Earlier today Prince Nana sent ROH officials an open letter (http://www.rohwrestling.com/news/a-letter-to-the-people-upstairs/) that we are not entirely sure what to make of it. Is the Prince from Ghana threatening ROH management? Is he threatening the members of the locker room? Only time will tell what the leader of The Embassy is planning, but it certainly seems like he has something bigger planned for the rest of 2010.

– Check out the latest edition of the ROH Video Wire for comments heading into our live events in Richmond and Charlotte this weekend. ROH World Champion Tyler Black speaks on his decision to leave ROH as well as his upcoming match with Davey Richards, both Richards & Eddie Edwards address Black, the Kings of Wrestling look to Ultimate Endurance, and Kevin Steen looks to play spoiler for both Richards & Roderick Strong.

– Due to popular demand, we have extended the 30% off sale until Thursday, August 26th at noon! Click here http://www.rohwrestling.com/news/take-30-off-your-order/ for all the details on this offer, and make sure you take advantage before time runs out.
